Ted worked until 1985 as a plumber for the Ithaca City Schools.
An avid outdoorsman, Ted enjoyed many years of fishing in Cayuga Lake, hunting and spending time with his family.Survivors include his loving wife of 67 years, Josephine Costanza Denmark at home, his daughter, Angela (John) Adams; his son, Ronald (Joyce) Denmark; both of Ithaca; grandchildren, Theodore Denmark, II, Kyle (Shannon) Denmark, Jason (Randi) Denmark, Abraham (Holly) Burke, Arthur M. Burke, III, Samantha (Brendon) Montiero, Malia Denmark; thirteen great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Annie Denmark; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a son, Anthony Denmark; a grandson, Steven Denmark, a great-grandson, Jacob Matthew Burke as well as his siblings, Floyd, Howard, Miles, Earl, George, Lena Garvin, Lillian Smith, Loretta Denmark, Helen Rinchak and Jean Turcsik.
Memorial services will be held at 4:30 PM, Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. David H. Nichols officiating.. Friends are invited to call from 3:30 to 4:30 PM at the funeral home, 55 West Main Street, Dryden, NY. Memorials are directed to the charity of one’s choice.

age 90, of 80 Abbott Lane, Ithaca, NY passed away Friday, Dec. 7 after a period of declining health. Ted was born in Dryden on October 13, 1922 a son of the late Eugene and Margaret Armstrong Denmark.ed grew up near Dryden Lake and for many years has been a resident
of Ithaca. He served honorably in the US Army during WW II. He was a retired Plumber and a long time member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union, Local #109.
