THOMAS EDWARD FLATHERS,
age 65, of Kellogg Road, Cortland, NY died Friday, October 26, 2007 at St. Joseph’s Hospital Syracuse. "Tom" was born April 24, 1942 at Herkimer, NY a son of the late Norman and Frances Nichols. A former resident of Sidney and Dolgeville, Tom has lived in Cortland area for the last 50 years. He was formerly employed at Barden Homes as a truck driver. Tom enjoyed four wheeling, fishing, hunting and camping.
Survivors include his daughters, Susan (Gary) Darling of Bainbridge and Stephanie (Duane) Canfield; his sister, Carol (Charles) Stephens of Forestport, NY; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Ralph Frederick Flathers.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007 at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev.Tony Hipes officiating. Burial will be private in Crown Hill Memorial Park, Clinton, NY. Friends are invited to call from 1 to 2 PM at the funeral home, 55 West Main St., Dryden.
