THOMAS J. JOHNSON,
age 53, of Front Street, Dryden, NY died Tuesday November 22, 2005 at the Cortland Memorial Hospital. Tom was born May 16, 1952 in the Town of Caroline a son of the late Darrell H. and Margera Ingrahm Johnson. He was a life area resident and was employed as a truck driver by Edward Lott Trucking in Ithaca prior to being disabled. He served in the US Marine Corps from 1969 to 1971.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Marie Stebbins Johnson of Dryden; his children, Christopher Wood and Brandy Johnson of Cortland, Richard Stebbins of Dryden, Donna (Anthony) Salerno of Freeville and Jeannie Johnson of Dryden; his step-children, Connie (Kenneth) French of Concord, GA, Vickie (John) Staley of Groton, Sid Greene of Cortland and Steven (Iva) Greene of Cortland; his siblings, Wayne (Agnes) Johnson of Cortland, John (Julie) Johnson of Eagle Lake, FL, Russell (Sandra) Johnson of Cortland, Clyde Johnson of Marathon, Bony (Warren) Auchmoody of Marathon, Linda (Rick) Carter of Cincinnatus; many grandchildren and one great-grandson nieces; nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005 at the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY with Rev. Brian Humphreys officiating. Burial will follow in Virgil Rural Cemetery, Virgil, NY. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 12 to 1 PM Tuesday prior to the funeral. Friends are encouraged to send a memorial, in lieu of flowers, to the Groton Ambulance Fund, Groton, NY 13073.
