Thomas J. O'Neil

Thomas Joseph O’Neil, 60 of Lansing NY passed away unexpectedly at his home on November 3, 2023.
Tom was born on February 25, 1963 in Syracuse NY and graduated from Bishop Grimes High School and
Syracuse University.
Tom had a passion for cooking and was always trying new recipes to feed family and friends. He enjoyed
coaching and attending his children’s sports events over the years and moving them to college and
various apartments. Tom was an avid woodworker and Syracuse Orange fan. He served as a past
president of the Ithaca Youth Hockey Association and was co-owner of MPR Technologies, Inc.
Tom is survived by his wife of 33 years, Susan O’Neil; children Connor of Hoboken, NJ and Sean of
Cambridge, MA. He is also survived by his parents Richard and Patsy O’Neil of Kirkville, NY, brother
David O’Neil of Fairfax, VA, sister Dawn O’Neil (William Halpin), niece Eliza and nephew Aris of Denver,
CO.
Funeral service will be held at Perkins Funeral Home, Dryden, NY on Saturday, November 11 th at 2:00
pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
