Thomas Stuart Parsons

Thomas Stuart Parsons, 55 of Chelmsford, MA passed away in the presence of his family on
December 12, 2022 at the age of 55 after battling cancer for the past year. Born in Cortland, NY
On October 6, 1967, Tom was the son of Catherine [Romeo] Parsons and Stuart Parsons,
growing up in Virgil, NY.
Tom was preceded in death by his father Stuart Parsons of Virgil, NY and grandparents John and Marie Parsons of Oneonta, NY and Dominic and Josephine Romeo of Dryden, NY.
He is survived by his mother Catherine Parsons of Virgil, NY, brother Jeff Parsons of New York,
NY as well as an extended family of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many friends.
After graduating from Cortland High School where he played lacrosse and earned his Eagle
Scout rank, Tom relocated to the Boston area where he embarked on a career in technology.
Tom worked the last fifteen plus years as a Sales Engineer for Juniper Networks. In this role he
was a key contributor to many successful wins in different areas of the business. He is
remembered by his colleagues and customers as a bright, dedicated and genuine person who
was always willing to help others. Tom will be truly missed as a colleague and as a friend, but
also remembered for his contributions and spirit.
Prior to Juniper Networks, Tom worked at SpringTide Networks (acquired by Lucent
Technologies) where he was deeply involved in support and qualifications of DSL and 3G
Wireless Radio technologies.
Tom was an avid golfer both playing and attending major tournaments who prided himself on
never taking a mulligan; a music enthusiast playing guitar and attending many live shows; and a
staunch supporter of Boston sports teams – Bruins, Red Sox and Patriots as well as Manchester United and AS Roma.
Tom also enjoyed travel, whether it be across the US, exploring his families roots in Italy, golf in
Ireland and work stints in Poland, Australia and Chicago.
Tom will never be forgotten but forever remembered and missed by all who were fortunate
enough to know him.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Perkins Funeral Home 55 West Main Street Dryden, NY 13053.
