Timothy N. Bain, 34, passed away February 23, 2017 at home from a heroin overdose. He was the son of Debra Bain of Freeville and Wayne Bain of Tucson, AZ. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Matthew. Also surviving, sister Jaimi (Rob), and nephew Ted Doran of Seattle, WA, as well as grandparents Edward and Gayleen Austen of Ithaca, uncle Steven Austen (Patty Shanahan) of Freeville, aunt Diane Austen of Santa Rosa, CA and many cousins. He was predeceased by an infant daughter. He will be missed by many people who loved him, and he loved in return.
Tim attended Lansing schools. He was a jack-of-all trades, and was employed by Alpine Construction. Tim enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter.
A memorial service will be held this summer at the Perkins Funeral Home.
