Timothy R Cortright

It is with Great sadness that the family of Timothy R. Cortright announces his sudden passing on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at the age of 71. He was born to the late Ray and Elsie Corey Cortright on January 10, 1949 in Cortland. Timothy was also predeceased by his wife, Linda Cortright; fiancé, Betty Williams; granddaughter, Deanna Cortright; sisters: Lucy Warner, Alice Gardener; brothers: Hank, Carl Cortright.

Tim is survived by his sisters Joy (Robert)Williams from South Carolina, Donna Polk of Atlanta, Georgia and a sister Carleen Corey of Brooktondale. Tim was a wonderful father to Sandy (Allen) Lanning, Lisa Munson, Daniel (Tammy) Cortright and Timothy (Lisa) Cortright all of New York State and Rebecca Cortright of Florida. Tim was a Grandfather and Great-grandfather to numerous Grandchildren and Great grandchildren.  Timothy was a wonderful guy that enjoyed his grandbabies and visiting with old friends while giving the waitresses a hard but fun time. Tim enjoyed fishing, camping, and playing golf on the Wii. A viewing will be held at the Perkins Funeral Home in Dryden NY on Saturday August 29,2020 from 9:30 - 10:30 am  followed by the grave side services 11:30 am at Grove Cemetery in Trumansburg NY. As Tim was a very generous man, loved children, and always wanted to help others. We are asking in lieu of flowers any donations be made to the physical therapy department at Cortland Park or Toys for Tots.
