TOM "CORKY"MOSCH,
age 59, of 175 Old Stage Road, Groton, NY died Thursday, March 8th, 2007 at the Cortland Memorial Hospital after becoming ill at home. Corky was born September 19, 1947 in Coudersport, PA a son of the late Vernon "Tink" and Obera Jane Sullivan Mosch. He was a resident of Dryden, NY for many years before joining the US Army Engineers, serving in Vietnam for 1969 to 1970. Corky was employed for many years as a glazier and also was the co-owner of SafeWay Glass. He was a member of the Dryden
Township Post 8158, Veterans of Foreign Wars. Corky enjoyed woodworking, motorcycling and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren, family and his dog, "Max".
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Carol Wilcox Mosch of Groton; two sons, Shawn (Jennifer) Mosch of Locke and Steve (Kelly) Mosch of Seneca Falls, NY; grandchildren, Ryan, Teagan and Haley Mosch; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a sister, Sandra Workman.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Monday, March 12, 2007 at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. Alan Kinney officiating. Burial with Military Honors at Willow Glen Cemetery, will be delayed until spring. Friends are invited to call from 2 to 4 PM Sunday at the funeral home, 55 West Main St., Dryden. Those wishing to remember Corky are asked to consider a memorial to the Dryden Veterans Memorial Home Ritual Team, 2272 Dryden Road, Dryden, NY 13053.
