Tracy P. Jones Jr., 62, of Locke passed away on February 9, 2018 at University Hospital. He was born on May 12, 1955 to the late Tracy P. and Irene Smith Jones Sr.
Tracy graduated from Groton High School. Following graduation he worked at Cornell University and went on to find other work at various places until he ended up back at Cornell, where he met his future wife Amanda Cronk and they got married in 1991. His passion was NASCAR and he enjoyed gambling also but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his brother Ronnie Jones.
Tracy is survived by his wife Amanda Jones of 26 years, his daughter Kari Combs of Freeville, his son; Timothy Jones of Ithaca, his sister; Pauline Bancroft, his grandchildren; Chaynne, Allanne, Christopher, his Nephews; Bryan Bancroft, Ward Bancroft, his nieces; Bethany Hollingworth, Skylar Jones and Kelley Jones, great nieces, nephews and cousins.
