Valeria I. Yashchenko

Valeria I. Yashchenko, age 34, of McGraw, NY passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 29, 2016.
Born April 30, 1982 in Kharkov, Ukraine, she is the daughter of Ivan Yashchenko and Valentina Lykhvar Yashchenko. Valeria was graduated from Dryden High School and received two degrees from TC3. She attended BOCES for hairdressing and Finger Lakes School of Massage for massage therapy. She was a self employed licensed Masseuse and Hairdresser.
In addition to her parents of Ithaca, NY, Valeria is survived by her companion, John Phelps of McGraw, NY; her son, Ethan of Cortland, NY; brother, Gennady (Katrina) Patek of Ithaca, NY; paternal grandmother, Valentina Sukhar of Cortland, NY; maternal grandmother, Praskovya Lykhvar of Ithaca, NY; her uncle, Paul (Luba) Lykhvar of Lansing, NY; her aunts, Luba (Roger) Supek of Enfield, NY and Nadya (Vasily) Yashchenko of Ithaca, NY; nieces, nephews and many cousins and friends.
Friends and Family are invited to call at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from 2 - 3 pm. Funeral services will follow beginning at 3 pm with Pastors Alexander Bublik and Ron Miller officiating.
