William S. Brownell

William S. Brownell, 63, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, after a brief illness. Born May 25,1953, in Ithaca, NY, he was the son of the late Neil and Margaret Thacher Brownell. He is survived by two sons, Nathaniel (Peggy) Brownell and Joshua (Sara) Shouse, and a granddaughter, Allora Brownell. Also surviving is a sister Kathlene (Dave) Gross and a brother Gary (Judi) Brownell as well as a niece and several nephews.
Bill was a graduate of Dryden High School and attended TC3. He completed two tours in the US Navy, and then worked a number of jobs including as a sales person and assistant manager at Vitamin World where he applied his extensive knowledge of vitamins. Bill was a Sea Scout and member of the Dryden Kiwanis.
Calling hours will be held at Perkins Funeral Home in Dryden, NY, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 11. Funeral services will follow.
