WILLIAM B. FREDERICK, age 82, of 5 Bald Hill Road, Ithaca, NY died Sunday, March 20, 2005, at the Cayuga Medical Center. Mr. Frederick was born January 19, 1923 a son of the late Harold and Harriett Baker Frederick. He was a life area resident and served in the US Army, being injured in the invasion of Normandy. After being honorably discharged he was married, on December 6, 1947, to the former Geraldine Winnickey at Allegany, NY. Mr. Frederick was an electrician and worked out of Local #241 IBEW. He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church and the American Legion. Bill enjoyed traveling, and learning from new experiences. He often worked at distant locations and stayed in his camping trailer being frequently joined by his wife. This way of.

mixing work and travel appealed to both and made for many happy memories.

Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Geraldine M. Frederick of Ithaca; two daughters, Sheila (Alan) Casciotti of Newfield; Nena (Forrest) Stinson of Lansing; two sisters, Frances Ingraham of East Aurora and Charlene Holtkamp of St. Cloud, FL; four grandchildren, William E. (Phaedra) Frederick, Samantha (Arthur) Swansborough, Brent (Joy) Casiotti, Alex (Sonnett) Stinson; ten great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, March 24, 2005, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Oak Ave., Ithaca, NY. Friends are invited to call from 2 to 3 p.m., Thursday at the church prior to the funeral. Burial, with military honors, will be in Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden, NY later in the spring. Arrangements are entrusted to the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY.
