William Joseph Lasher

WILLIAM J. LASHER, age 57, of Adam Avenue, Ithaca, NY passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016 at the Cayuga Medical Center after a chronic illness. "Bill" was born in Ithaca on October 18, 1958 a son of the late Charles and Ruth Sullivan Lasher. Bill was graduated from Ithaca High School and was employed at Ithaca Bakery until becoming ill. He enjoyed fishing, collecting and going to car shows.
Survivors include his son, Jeffrey Lasher of Groton; his former wife, Tammy Lasher of Groton; his siblings, Anna (Charles) Barnhart of Brooktondale, Jane (Claude) Phillips of Ithaca and David Lasher of Brooktondale, several nieces and nephews including Sarah (John) Habalou of Brooktondale; a great- niece, Taylor Habalou; and several cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Roy Lasher.
Funeral services will be held at 3 PM, Thursday, June 2, 2016 at the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main Street, Dryden, NY with Rev. Phil Jordan officiating. Friends may call Thursday from 1 PM to 3 PM. Memorials to the American Lung Association.
