William E. Short

William E. Short, born October 8, 1952 passed away unexpectedly on January 15, 2017. Bill worked for Carroll Hamburger, KFC, A&W, A B Browns, Short's Trash and Landscaping, City of Ithaca, Dryden Central School, Wrights Limo, Cayuga Crushed Stone and Auto Parts International. He was Mr. Fix It and always Mr. Happy Happy Happy… He leaves behind a wife who loved him with all her heart Linnett A Lukosavich Short, Daughters: Kristi Sliker (Brian), Michelle Short, Macy Short (Tracy McWilliams), Sons: William Warner and Peanut his last but very furry, 4 legged son, and 12 very loved grandchildren. He is survived by his brother Charles (Jan) Short and Carolyn (Ken) Williams. Brother and sister in law, Bob and Connie Oaksford and very loved friends Bill and Theresa Grau.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main Street Dryden NY 13053. A funeral service will be on Thursday at Perkins Funeral Home at 10:00 AM, with a burial to follow at Virgil Cemetery.
